Allstar Supply, Inc. Purchases ESP Packaging
CANTON, CT –September 10, 2015 Allstar Supply. Inc. of Canton, CT and Sudbury MA has announced the purchase of The ESP Packaging Division from Eastern States Packaging of Stoughton, MA. for an undisclosed amount.
Tom Zotter, President of Allstar Supply, Inc. announced the purchase of the normal operations of Eastern States Packaging known as ESP Packaging. “This expansion offers Allstar Supply both a growth opportunity as well as an expanded presence in the greater Boston market. We look forward to offering the same level of service and supply excellence which we have offered for nearly 25 years to a new group of valued customers.”
Eight years ago, Allstar Supply purchased The George Fuller Tape Company of Sudbury, MA and plans to move the ESP Packaging division into their existing facility in at 75 Union Ave in Sudbury within 3 months. In the short term, all ESP employees will remain in the current Stoughton location. After that, some will move to Sudbury while others will continue as employees of the remaining company which will specialize in Burst Pouch poly bags. Additional employees have been added in the current 97 River Rd., Canton, CT location to meet the significant growth of the company due to this expansion.
Eastern States Packaging is one of the nation’s leading suppliers of packaging products specializing in plastic bags. ESP stocks over 10,000 sizes of poly bags and ships from 7 warehouses located throughout the country. Allstar Supply is a distributor of poly bags as well as boxes, stretch wrap, shrink wrap, tapes, staples and other packaging products. Both companies sell to industrial accounts such as Goodyear, PepsiCo, GE, New Balance and Alcoa.
